Questions
We can scan any loose photographs up to A4 in size. If your images are larger than this it would be best to get in touch before sending them over to us.
Unfortunately we would not be able to scan directly from an album. Here is a full list showing what we may be unable to scan;
Photos we will TRY to scan but may be unable;
- Photos with any side smaller than approx. 7cm (for reference, a passport photo is approx. 4.5 x 3.5cm).
- Photos larger than A4 (approx. 21 x 29.7cm).
- Very thick card photos.
- Mounted Images.
- Excessively curled/bent photos.
- Very fragile or damaged photos.
Photos that we CANNOT scan:
- Photos in albums.
- Framed photos.
- Photos that have sellotape, blu-tack, staples, velcro, paperclips or are sticky.
- Negatives or slides.
You will not be charged for any unscanned photos
Yes. We keep secure offline backups of your images and also store your photos in the cloud for 6 months from the date we complete your order. You can then download them as many times as you like during that time.
After 6 months (or sooner if requested) we will delete all images used in the process of producing your order.
Please don’t worry, this is fairly common. Life isn’t always PG and our photos and memories will reflect this. We certainly don’t mind and have seen it all before. We’re also far too busy to pay much attention. If you’re really concerned, please do get in touch, we’d be happy to discuss this further and put your mind at ease.
No. Our scanners will accurately do this for you. We do ask for an estimate upon placing your order at which point a deposit will be taken. Once your order is complete and your digitised images are ready to be sent over to you we will confirm the total amount and request the final balance.
Turnaround times can vary depending on how busy we are at the Lab. Typically, your photos will be scanned in 1–3 days of them arriving.
We offer a free collection and return delivery service within a 5 mile radius. Alternatively, please post your photographs to;

- Seal securely with tape along all openings and edges
